Are you talking about getting Festival to work, or getting an
Intermec 5055 to work with Linux/Xastir?

Festival is described in the INSTALL file.

5055 is not described anywhere except in a notes file that I have.
As far as I know I'm the first and only one to ever get Linux
running on the 5055.  There are a few tricks to it.
