[Xastir] Print and/or screen dump

Merry Christmas.

At the moment, I'm trying to get a screen image dump that I can then
e-mail as a graphics file. I think that I "should" be able to
accomplish this by using the print function. When I click on the
Preview button in the print dialog, the dialog closes, but nothing seems
to happen.

I already had /Ghostscript/ installed, and the /fonts/ seem to be (a few
weeks ago, I had a message when I was updating CUPS that said it had
created new folder for the GS fonts"the old font directory
/usr/share/cups/fonts was moved to /usr/share/cups/fonts.old. If you did
not put additional fonts there,
you can savely delete it now. The new fonts directory is now a link to
the ghostscript fonts directory.")

I have /convert/ under ImageMagick.

I did not have /gv/, but I downloaded and installed the rpm for that (I
am running Suse 9.1). I can run it from the command line.

Following that, I downloaded and installed /Xastir 1.4.1/. I chgmod
4555, and ran ldconfig just for good measure.

What have I done wrong? Where can I look?

A workaround for the moment would be if X11 had a
universal-dump-screeen-graphic-to-clipboard like Windoze, but I can't
find any reference that it does (I'm still a Linux newbie, tho).
