It sounds like you've got the baud rate and parity set correctly, if
findu.com can see the correct information.

Alan> Is anyone running xastir on Solaris with a AEA PK232 PakRatt?

I am using an AEA PK232mbx on FreeBSD, and there's a few others out
there using Solaris currently.

There is a file "config/tnc-start.aea" which has been in the CVS
repository for nearly two years, so if you've got a recent version of
the software, it should be there. Have you tried that?

I've got the serial port configured as 9600 8N1, if that helps.
Before I use the AEA with xastir, I connect with tip and send a set of
*'s to make sure it's on the right baud rate -- I haven't gotten
around to permanently fixing the battery problem.

Bummer on last year's loss, glad to hear you're coming back from
adversity.
