[Xastir] object display problems

In which mode, serial TNC or KISS TNC mode?  If serial TNC mode, do
you have one line per packet showing up in the View->Incoming Data
window, or two lines per packet?

Did you enable the Activate Alternate Net button in
Configure->Defaults?  If so, turn that off.

If you connect to an internet server, do you see stations?  That's a
quick way to tell whether it is a global setting or a TNC/Interface
issue.

What's it say in the docs about it?  Is it unclear there?

In X-Windows, if you have a text description of something next to a
button, and the button is pressed in, you are enabling that feature.
