Did I mention that the OGR stuff in the Xastir GDAL/OGR support will
auto-convert the datum if it's not in NAD83 or WGS84?  ;-)

Of course if your Shapefile dataset doesn't include a .prj file,
Xastir just assumes it's WGS84 and continues on...
