Hi Chris,

Yep, you are missing a C- compiler. When installing Mandrake be sure to
install development tools as well. Most of it is on CD 1 to 3.

You also might want to check the archives of this list for information on
compiling Xastir.

Subject: [Xastir] New user needs help!

Hi All,
I'm trying to install Xastir on Mandrake 9.2. I get this error after
./configure :

configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $Path

I'm new to Linux (but it's great!) and I have no idea what I need to
download to get this to work. I imagine some kind of C compiler... :)

Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris KL9A
