In the absence of other replies closer to your destination.

VK4 and VK2 will (or should) be on 145.175.  VK3 is on 144.900.

You can take a look at vk2.aprs.net.au  vk3.aprs.net.au  vk4.aprs.net.au 
vk5.aprs.net.au  vk6.aprs.net.au  vk7.aprs.net.au and vk8.aprs.net.au  

Some pages have limited info.

Not all areas will have igates.  Some igates will gate net traffic to RF for VK calls only, or a local 
subset. This provides a bit more variety on local frequencies.

There is local support for aprs to email if you find that kind of thing useful.
Use VKMAIL instead of EMAIL as the target address.
