It's not your TT3, as the AX.25 protocol header is not capable of
using lower-case characters.  It's at the igate or beyond that this
problem is happening, as it cannot happen on RF at all.  It's an
impossibility.

It gets modified as it goes along.  In particular, the "q" stuff and
the call after it gets modified by the igate, perhaps by succeeding
software as well.

I just copied that data into ~/.xastir/logs/ and then sucked that
file into Xastir.  It's a common technique I use for debugging to
see what Xastir does with particular packets, and lets me run them
through over and over to see what's happening.

Nothing.  I believe that one of our routines in Xastir is dumping
the packet when it shouldn't.  That should be fixed.  How best to
fix it is the current question.
