Further to the problem below make creates a 0 byte long xastir.exe in 
/home/user/src/xastir/src/ and copies it to /usr/local/bin. So nothing 
to run.

Trying to update the latest cvs makes the following problem:
cvs update   OK
./bootstrap.sh   OK
./configure   OK
make
make install  seemes OK
But: make install creates a xastir.exe file in the /home/user/ directory 
with 0 byte. So application can  not be launched.
Am I doing something wrong?
