[Xastir] Xastir locking screen on startup

Have installed Xastir 131 from cvs, on Mandrake 10 Community edtion
(download). It seemed to compile in ok, all the map formats were in and
working ok, festival speech worked ok.This morning when starting from
terminal window it boots up but then the screen is frozen.None of the
menu selections work, and it seems to have some graphics frozen from
the previous mandrake screen. Anybody else have this problem happen?
Any fix other than starting over? Thanks. ..........dennis (ve6dhw)
