[Xastir] Compression algorithm problem with DRGs

Yes, I did install libproj before compiling geotiff, and as I said, some of
the DRGs load just fine, including trimming the border off.

As to the first, what does tiffinfo tell you about the tif?

As to the second, did you install libproj before libgeotiff?
