[Xastir] Icon Selection: Something I've noticed....

OK, I bring up Xastir, get to the point where I choose an icon.  I 
invoke the panel to choose it, click on the desired icon.  The panel 
goes away, and the group/overlay character is there, but the character 
for the symbol is not.  I can enter the character manually,and all is 
well.  What gives?  This is v1.3.2, circa 25Apr2004.
