[Xastir] Xastir leaking (socket) file descriptors?

Yes I have the automatic reconnect enabled. I checked the output of 
"netstat --inet" before restarting Xastir and it didn't show extra 
connections to the aprs-is server I'm using. But I can't remember 
whether it showed the one connection I'm supposed to have.

I've now had Xastir running for almost two hours and I'm seeing 17 
sockets (lsof) similar to those I had around about 1000 when the file 
descriptor limit was reached. I just turned off the automatic reconnect, 
we'll see what happens. The connection to the aprs-is server (a Finnish 
server, only feeding north european traffic downstream) is quite 
reliable, usually it stays up unless something weird happens at either end.
