Correct.  There's no current way to have them use a different home
directory or config file.

I personally run three Xastir's on one machine.  I run each as a
different user, so there's no conflict between them as to the
config files.  I do "xhost localhost" so that X11 lets the other
users access the X11 display (don't do that if you have other users
using your machine at the same time!).

Kind'a.  At one point I think the Xastir code was more bulletproof
than APRSD, but perhaps they've improved their codebase a bit since
then.  We have a an aprsd developer or two on here so perhaps
they'll speak up.
