It isn't an option, yet - though that is something I'd like to see added,
at some point.  It is a compile time default, which, as was discussed last
week, is enabled if the configure script finds the right version of
SleepyCat.com's Berkeley db installed.

I have personally tested things under Redhat 9, Fedora Core 3u3 and Cygwin
so far. I'm currently doing developement under Cygwin, which as odd as it
sounds, seems to be the most stable platform on my winders box.
