[Xastir] open several windows ?

Try another window manager.  I use FVWM2.  If you're using Lesstif,
switch to OpenMotif instead (usually openmotif and openmotif-devel
are required).  You can leave lesstif installed, but you usually
have to remove lesstif-devel so that openmotif-devel can take its
place.
