As someone else mentioned, a 'pure' unix-style implementation would
separate the functions of igating from the client display function. Does
aprsd handle igating? If so, then the ideal implementation would be a
simple headless box running aprsd and digi_ned, and your xastir display on
your X-equipped workstation can connect to the aprsd instance.
