[Xastir] Problems enabling I-gating on Solaris.

Hello.  I finally finished the TNC-X project box and feeling brave, I 
put it on the Xastir box.
I enabled the RF to Internet gating from the Configure-Defaults box.
I enabled the RF to Internet gating in my new Serial port KISS TNC 
Interface control.
It still wasn't Igating, so then I checked the Interface control for the 
Internet server and Transmit control was turned off.  After turning it 
on, Xastir "caught Segfault" within a couple of seconds after pressing 
OK, and crashed.  I tried restarting, but it wouldn't.  As soon as it 
would finish loading the maps, it would immediatly segfault and die.  
The only way was to edit the xastir.cnf file to turn off transmit 
control on my internet device.  I couldn't get debugging to tell me 
anything useful.
I'm on Sparc hardware - Solaris 8
Prior to this, It seemed to be working OK, weather alerts and all, 
15,000 or so stations.
