[Xastir] maps directory question

Isn't there a way in linux to mount an ISO file as a local file system?  From
there you could edit/add/delete map files from the ISO image.  Then unmount it
and burn to CD, right?

Also, I've found that CD ISO images burned to DVD will also boot... so now this
gives us 4.7gigs on a "cd"... hihi.
