I think the OS usually handles such detail, but it won't matter to the
application since UDP happens on top of IP, which happens on top of
802.11, which figures out that it's a member of a network. Now,
whether nor not you can keep a socket open on a port whose IP address
keeps changing may be the can of worms for the application to deal
with.
