Had just loaded up a toposerver map (toposerver.geo)

unchecked the png snapshot option in file menu

re-checked it again to force a png snapshot

(was putting together several for the request on the users list)

Fedora Core 1 (current)

CPU goes %100 - top shows xastir at %98+ - I walk away for a bit (coffee
ya know), come back after a minute or so and find xastir shut down, back
to console no topo snapshot in ~/.xastir/tmp/logs and this at the console:

Gremlins or a bug? FWIW
