[Xastir] xastir resetting path in D700

While none of the replies pointed to a fix, they pointed to what was
not broken and made me think a little more outside the box or rather
that the problem was in another box. One of the features that the D700
has is four programmable memory slots Lots of parameters can be set and
stored in one of these slots. They can also be set as a set of static
parameters that require a few extra keystrokes to make the changes to a
slot permanent or dynamic and the changes are made as you make changes
on the radio. A few months ago I decided to change from dynamic to
static. This is what jumped up and bit me. Every time I turned the
radio off and back on, it reverted all of the changes I had made in the
mean time back to the static set I made months ago. Problem solved. Now
it has the path set correctly.

Thanks to:
Curt, WE7U Tom, KM5VY Keith, WA0TJT
that responded and helped me figure out what was working right and
where to look to fix what was wrong.
