[Xastir] Igate wish list

Ive got the Igate traffic working properly now .. Gating Net to RF on a
limited basis ..

A couple of thoughts. I realise that Gating Net to RF in most parts of the
world is a luxury that isn't enjoyed.. Its not practical.. However some
flexibility in this area would be good. Its still a reality in some areas
and a good way to link isolated Igate zones back to the rest of the
State/country.
I also realise that each time I make a sugestion on here that not everybody
agrees with my thinking. However I live in a part of the world that isn't
like the USA with APRS traffic. For example I cant see a time for many years
here if ever at all that we will have to apply the new APRS n-n paridigam
thinggy that is needed to fix the network in the US .

These are only sugestions for the wish list that I believe would enhance
Xastir. Not everybody would use these features of course but there are many
other features allready in Xastir that I probably woulnt use myself and
thats fine by me..

1: Some sort of Limiting factor of Frames per minute to RF from the Net
would be handy for posit frames. This I guess would involve a Que buffer of
sorts . When the limit of frames per minute (or 5 mins etc) is reached then
frames are then dumped from the Que. Thats a pretty rough description
anyway.

2: A system where another set of callsign parameters can be setup in the
nws-stations.txt file perhaps. These callsigns get priority in the Que
basically. One might put callsigns for IRLP node status or WX stations in
there.. These calls basically need to jump the Que so that they never get
dumped off the Que. The traffic they carry is priority in the sense that
they change status very often. A sensible limit to the number of calls used
in this list would have to be observed obviously.

3: Messaging traffic still needs to take priority and not get Qued. I guess
this is obvious.
