Use the "Serial TNC w/GPS on AUX Port" interface. That's how you
get both GPS data and APRS data from the D700A, assuming the GPS is
plugged into the radio itself.
In the Properties section of that interface use the
"tnc-startup.d700" file for your TNC Setup file, and "tnc-stop.d700"
for your TNC Shutdown file.
With respect to how to configure your radio for it, I think there
are only two options, Packet and APRS. Not sure which to use. I
don't own one.
USB ports are usually listed in /dev. Do something like this:
cd /dev
ls | grep -i usb
To find them. On my SuSE system I find these:
smbusbios
ttyUSB0
ttyUSB1
ttyUSB2
ttyUSB3
usb
usblp0
usblp1
usblp2
usblp3
usbmouse
usbmouse0
usbmouse1
usbmouse2
usbmouse3
usbscanner
So I would try something like "/dev/ttyUSB0", "/dev/ttyUSB1", etc.
I don't currently use USB, so that's about as far as I'm a gonna'
help you on this one.
