The Kenwoods will ack messages sent to ANY SSID of the same callsign 
assigned to the kenwood itself.

So if you have your kenwood APRS radio in your truck on and listening 
and a buddy sends a message to your home Xastir station, the D700 will 
ack. The radios do not listen to see if any other station ACKed the 
message. They just blindly send ACK.

Obviously, Xastir should not crash, but this is a known bug in the  D7* 
radios.
