I've updated the wiki to explain what to do when the password is prompted
for in the interests of completeness.

I should also note that there is a link on the Ubuntu 6.10 HowTo that points 
you at a page called "Notes:CVS" that provides all the arcane details you need 
to use CVS (and more arcane details than you might want).  It's essentially
a wikified copy of "README.CVS" that Curt mentioned.
