[Xastir] Zoomable Google maps for Xastir ?

I have been using Xastir for a while with static maps (mainly for
Netherlands & Belgium)

After reading the Wiki how to install a full version of Xastir for
Kubuntu 6.10,  I decided to install that one, hoping to enjoy the
bleeding edge version of Xastir.

I have absolutely no experience with zoom able maps, but I am trying to
learn about it.

My question : Is it possible to use zoom able Google maps online,
instead of static maps.
Like the one in use at the DB0ANF APRS Server

(Or other zoom able maps for Europe)

(Sorry for my ignorance)
