I got just the thing for you.  I'll send the links and the zip of the  
tiger 04 shapes for CT and NY.  Now that I think of it I'll put it in  
your pub on idisk.

We live about 7 miles apart, both use Macs and xastir.  Only  
difference is that he has 3 or so and I only have 2.

BUT I got an intel linux box running xastir (finally).  From 0 to  
compiled 1.8.3 in only two months.  New record? (hope not)
