Debugger:  That stuff is a bit of a pain, and I'm no expert.  I
fight through it each time I need to debug something, but usually I
can find problems without resorting to debuggers.  Probably is
slower to do it the way I do, but whatever works...

Profiling is for figuring out where the code is faster/slower.  I
use this sort of data to go into the slower bits of code and rewrite
them to make them more efficient.  It has little to do with figuring
out where something crashes.
