Yea, you can either download the whole shebang onto your harddrive
using the script, or you can use the findu.com scheme of creating
custom .geo's and custom images that fit our map screen and use
those while online.

It'd be nice to have a method of snagging one province, or perhaps a
1x1 degree grid of maps or something.  For those of us without
infinite drive space.

Like everything else, if someone wants it bad enough, they'll write
it.
