[Xastir] Xastir hangs when changing form fields

Sure enough, there it is.  However, my status line is now gone, and I
get tons of these in the terminal window where Xastir is started:

I also noticed that some of the other text fields aren't working right -
like where the path would show up in the send message dialog, it's
empty, and next to a station's icon in the info dialog is blank (should
show the icon text and call sign).  This was working fine before
changing out lesstif for openmotif, as well as an upgrade to the
1.8.5-feb1 release.
