[Xastir] Which distro are you using

I am Xubuntu and was using Kubuntu 6.10 but switched that box to  
MEPIS and am not able to run 1.8.4 or 5. I get the following make  
errors.

I can run 1.7.1 from synaptic but I want a new version.
