[Xastir] weather station

Hi, I'm interested in buying a weather station to be mounted near our
club's repeater.

I was looking around but I've only found models with fancy consoles that
I don't really need. I was told I should get a NMEA-out station but I
have no idea what model or brand I should look for. What is a good piece
of hardware that can be simply connected to the serial port of a
computer? Any hint?
