Never heard of it. There are a _lot_ of different Linux
distributions. If they are fairly standard and have full
development support, you should be able to get it compiled.
If they are focused more towards _using_ linux instead of
_developing with_ linux, you may have trouble getting the tools and
headers installed in order to create a development environment in
which to compile Xastir.
FWIW: I use OpenSuSE, a free download. There are several different
Linux OS'es represented among the Xastir users, as well as FreeBSD.
Then there are the non-PC users and several choices of OS there
depending on platform.
