Thanks for the help folks. I had a deep crash course in the workings of Linux with the mistake but we got 'er done. I think Curt mentioned that the .sys extension was not used so I finally said why don't I try taking the extension off and see what that does... it worked. Figured it would be something simple. Thanks again guys...
