Mike,

I think I have it working now. I found a thread you were in around the first part of December and followed a check list from Curt as to what should be turned on and off. My APRS station is N4MRV and the wx station is N4MRV-1 so that should avoid the name problem you were having. I got the following log messages:

1:NET-> N4MRV-1>APRS,TCPIP,N4MRV*:@041900z3745.19N/07729.06W_270/000g009t043P000h30b10342.wview341

IGATE NET->RF(N):}N4MRV-1>APRS,TCPIP,N4MRV*:@041900z3745.19N/07729.06W_270/000g009t043P000h30b10342.wview341

Thanks for your help. I had actually seen the README but didn't really understand it completely.

Hi Bob,

	I am assuming you have both interfaces configured and working. Once
this is done, just put the callsign you want gated into the ~.xastir/
Data/nws-stations file and xastir will gate only that station. I
know you're not looking for RTFM, and I don't mind helping out, but
the README does give details of using this file. Hope that helps!
