Greetings!
Fedora has a Special Interest Group (SIG) for hams (no, do not confuse
this with the TAPR APRS SIG!!). The group's purpose is to include ham
specific software into the Fedora repositories and (maybe) Fedora releases.
You can find the Fedora Hams SIG pages here:

Long story short - I was invited to participate with the Fedora Ham SIG.
What I get for being in the right place at the wrong time. Of course, my
first inclination was to get Xastir included. So, I submitted your all's
efforts and Xastir has been added to the queue!
I'm not a coder - I've not contributed more to the project other than
user review, comments and LOTS of questions - that many of you have
answered and then some. Bob, of the Fedora SIG has asked if I'd like to
added as a "contributor or interested person". I can buy the 'interested
person' part - but I'm not up to the 'contributor' bit. Since you all
are the ones that do the real work, I wanted to be sure to include you
all who are more deserving.
Looks like all it'd take is an email to Bob - let 'em know if you're
interested.
