[Xastir] Error upgrading from 1.7.1 to 1.9.2

On Sun, Jul 27, 2008 at 09:51:23AM -0700, we recorded a bogon-computron collision of the <nwsnowboarder at verizon.net> flavor, containing:

If configure fails, no point in running make.

config.log is created in the same directory where you ran configure.

If it's not there, you have other problems.  The clue to why your compiler
isn't working is in there somewhere.
