[Xastir] Allow transmitting ??

In the interface setup for a Internet server port there is a button called
Allow transmitting.
What does this actually do ? Does it refer to Trasmitting TO the Net from RF
or TO RF from the Net.

Its hard to figure out what a reference to transmitting would mean on a
Internet based interface. I looked in the wiki and manuals but I am still
confused. I suspect it stops traffic from RF to the Net. Maybee this could
be relabeled so its clearer and not the terminaology as the RF based type
ports.
