I thought that there was a pop-up or console message that it was doing that,
though.
Of course, if it's a console message and the user is using a desktop icon to
start the thing...
I've got my Ubuntu 9.10 VirtualBox machine running Xastir now, configured
almost the same as the native Xastir running on the BSD machine that's
running VirtualBox --- it's only been running for an hour now, so we'll have
to see what happens in the next day or so. I've run it from a terminal
window, so I should see any warning message about Xastir going into the tank
over time-warp issues.
