[Xastir] Compiling Xastir on OSX and remote TNC access

My TNC (a TNC-X at the moment, may be swapping it out for a T2-135 which
will also be KISS based) is running on a seperate machine under Debian
linux. I use it there to take advantage of the AX.25 stack and I also run
javaaprssrvr on it as well.
I want Xastir to be able to see the TNC on the remote box. I have
accomplished this before using linux and remserial, but I wasn't so sure it
would work under OSX as well.....

These are my notes for using remserial:

I may give
remserial a try anyhow, but wondered if there was a better solution
than what I have documented above....

I just finished compiling Xastir without any hiccups, so now I've just
got to find a way to talk to the TNC :)
