[Xastir] problems with Xastir-Hardy VM and vmware tools?

I've got it downloaded via torrent and sneaker netted to

ftp://ftp.eng.uah.edu/pub/xastir/Xastir-Hardy_090307.zip

someone may want to update the wiki with the latest data.  John, if
you haven't started a torrent download, an I2 grab may be a bit
faster...

Oh, and if there's a checksum for a sanity check, that may be good to
have around as well.
