[Xastir] Xastir-Xubuntu Live CD/USB in Parallels on Mac

Oh Boy!
Here I sit red faced...
I'm very embarrassed.

After downloading the .iso file from the web site and not really  
knowing what I was suppose to do I opened a terminal window and typed  
in xastir. Xastir came up, this is where the real brain fart comes in,  
the .iso image is still sitting on the desk top so obviously it's not  
contributing to this run.

Apparently Xastir v 1.9.2 was already install when I loaded Ubuntu.

So what I want to do now is install from the .iso image (version  
1.9.5) but I'm back to the start... I don't know what to do to install  
it. Maybe it would be easier to just download it from sourceforge and  
start from that, I actually know how to do that.

I feel like I've wasted all your time, I so apologize.
