[Xastir] Xastir 1.9.5 Cannot make on Debian Lenny 2.6.26

OK, I will give that a shot.
I did try it earlier without the tag, and then issued a "cvs update" and it appears that I ended up with 1.9.9 .
As before, bootstrap and configure went OK, but make failed again on;

map_tif.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/map_tif.Tpo -c -o map_tif.o map_tif.c
map_tif.c:88:21: error: xtiffio.h: No such file or directory
map_tif.c:91:27: error: geo_normalize.h: No such file or directory

I did not try the --without-geotiff option. I wanted to test it with the 1.9.9 version to see if geotiff was OK on that one.

OK, I just used the STABLE tag with the CVS download and I did get 1.9.8, so that is now working.

I configured using --without-geotiff, and make finished OK without complaints from GCC.
Install went OK, and now I have 1.9.8 running. Now I just need to get the Davis Wx station to talk to Xastir.

Also, I did unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the list. I am just waiting for the confirmation E-mail.

Thanks

Done. Try updating to the latest STABLE CVS tag and you'll get
version xastir-1.9.8 now. Sorry about that!
