[Xastir] MediaWiki and PRE tag

Does anyone know why the MediaWiki on http://www.xastir.org puts
extra blank lines between every line inside <PRE></PRE> tags, while
the SourceForge MediaWiki does not?

I'd like the www.xasir.org Wiki to behave like the SF Wiki in this
