This refers to a scenario where you're gating, or otherwise
transmitting the same data multiple times into a single APRS-IS
network.

If, for example, you connect to APRS-IS and your 990 igate, and
somehow transmit data to the igate that the igate sends to APRS-IS
_and_ you send that same data to APRS-IS directly, then you could trip
the looping problem that's mentioned in the archived post.
