[Xastir] Install Problem with I/F to TNC

Hi all:

Having a problem with my interface to my PK-232MBX TNC.  I'm running 
Xastir 1.9.8 (installed from source) using Sun VirtualBox.  My interface 
is COM1.  Xastir's Interface Manager shows COM1 as UP.  However, no data 
comes across.  I'm using 9600 baud and 8-N-1.  The TNC is receiving 
packet data from my 2m receiver tuned to 144.390.  Would appreciate any 
help.
