[Xastir] 1.9.4 and problem with new Ubuntu 10.04

On Mon, May 31, 2010 at 08:26:17PM +0200, we recorded a bogon-computron collision of the <la5ppa at nrrl.no> flavor, containing:
> Can I just type this in the terminal window ?
> export LANG=C; xastir &

Or, even  better:

env LANG=C xastir &

which will make the LANG=C setting only for the process that is running Xastir,
instead of every shell command from that point forward in that shell.
