Most of the work may be done for you already!
Have a look at http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/10782
If you are running Xastir then you are running Linux and wview is a
Linux program.
Wview reads CWOP data here in the US so it should be able to read BM
data in AUS.
Just a suggestion that might be of use.
Anyone else have a better idea?
