The older binary versiion of Xastir is installed in /usr/share, so you
probably have leftover files in the ~/.xastir directory that are still
pointing to /usr/share.  The easiest way to remedy this if you are
willing to start over with a clean configuration is to delete the
contents of ~/.xastir with Xastir shut down and then start Xastir,
which will rebuild a new config that looks in /usr/local/share.  (Look
through the hidden files in your home directory to find the .xastir
directory).
